詩の様な歌詞で、韻を踏んでいる？ので意味は分かりやすいと思います。
また、しっかりと発音するので、発音練習にもいいですね！
意味が取りにくそうな部分
・That drowns the tender reed
reedは植物ですがWikiで実際の写真を確認しましょう。
この植物の様から、「弱々しい人」という意味もあります。
「やさしく、弱々しい人を溺れされる」みたいな文ですね。
・razor=かみそり、刃
後の文は、比較的簡単な単語で作られています。
文の構造がthatやandを多用して、日本語の読み方だと難しく感じる
かもしれませんが、じっくり読んでみて理解して
そして、理解した頭で歌ってみれば、この歌の素晴らしさが理解できると思います。
