Livemochaとロゼッタストーンが合併

おそらくLanguage Exchangeコミュニティとして使われていたLivemochaが
ロゼッタストーンと合併することになりました。

Livemochaは無料だけど、ちょっと学習方法がわかりにくく自分でやらなければならない。
ロゼッタストーンは学習提供コンテンツは優れていたけど、コミュニティという点では不足。

両方のいい面を補えることになりそうです。

Livemochaに登録していた人には案内が届いたと思うのですが、
そのメール内容は日本語でした。ホームページに英語版が載っていて、
TOEICのパート７の文章でも読んでいるかのようだったので紹介します。

言語の学習方法はいろいろありますが、いろんなことを試してみるといいと思います。

というのも一つのことを続けて根気良く行うのは、やはり疲れます。

一つのことを繰り返して何度もやったほうが、下手につまみ食いして学習するよりも
本当はいいことは私もわかります。

でもやっぱり人間は同じ事ばかりしていると飽きてきます。

私の英語学習で大切に思う３要素の一つが「適度な負荷」なのですが、
例えばLivemochaなどはうまく使えば無料でLanguage Exchangeが体験出来ます。

ただこういった参加姿勢が得意じゃない方には負荷が重いサービスでしょう。
ロゼッタストーンの方が、UI（ユーザーインターフェース）に優れていて、
気持よく学習を進められると思います。
